It was snowing when I left. But the weather forecast said it would clear up in the evening, and it did, and in a rather spectacular way.The best camera is..the one you have on you. Never leave home without it!

I had a totally unexpected visite from my friend Rob de Voogd and we decided to shoot together. We went for the stars at Vallon Pont d’ Arc and there were many of them, but I wasn’t happy with the outcome. I got this view from the famous Arc I’m not too unhappy about, but it was fun photographing together. I’m expecting some great photos from Rob any day now, so keep an eye on him! He’s a great photographer from whom I learned a lot and he’s lots of fun to be with on top of that! It was good to be away from the wedding processing for a moment. I’m almost done and will be back on a more regular basis to comment on your photos.

That castle is under restoration for as long as I know.Since 1969, it has been the object of a restoration project by Pierre and Françoise Pottier and a handful of volunteers. Cheers to those guys!

The legend of “Devil’s bridge” is that the devil build this bridge on demand from the young girls of the village of Thueyts. It was too hard for men to build, and thus the couples could cross the river and love each other without being watched by the people of the village! The bridge was recently restored and looks quite new now! Maybe for secutity reasons but I prefer the previous version.
